WHAT IS INFANT CRANIOSACRAL?
Infant Craniosacral Therapy (CST) is a gentle, non-invasive bodywork technique that supports overall wholistic health of the newborn. I assess subtle layers of the fascia, membranes and cerebrospinal fluid surrounding and protecting the brain and spinal cord. During sessions I feel for and release restrictions in the craniosacral system. The idea is that even small imbalances in an infant’s body, especially after the physical pressures of birth, can lead to discomfort or physical challenges.

MIDWIFE
INFANT CRANIOSACRAL THERAPIST
Since 2016, I’ve walked alongside birthing families across the world from hospital rooms in Texas to home births in Hawaii. I’m guided by a deep reverence for the sacred unfolding of life. My love for babies and the deep wisdom of birth led me to midwifery, where I’ve blended hands-on experience with training through the National College of Midwifery. I'm a Texas Licensed, certified professional midwife currently practicing in Austin.
After moving to Hawaii in 2019, my connection to the healing power of nature deepened, and my path expanded into the world of bodywork. I began specializing in infant craniosacral therapy, prenatal and postpartum massage. My work is about more than technique — it’s about presence, listening, and honoring the story each body holds. I believe that babies arrive already wise, and that with gentle, conscious touch, we can support their unfolding while nurturing parents in their own profound transformation.

"The calmness, confidence and kindness that Sofia embodies was very apparent to my husband and I when we first met her. These qualities, besides experience and knowledge which Sofia also has a wealth of, were very important to us in in the person we wanted attending and supporting us in the birth of our daughter. I had a fearless, natural, unmedicated and peaceful birth."
